Part Numbering System
Parker Hannifin Aircraft Wheel & Brake has assigned a part number to all purchased
and government standard off-the-shelf parts. They are defined and used as follows:
When a purchased part is listed, the assigned Parker Hannifin AWB part number shall
be used in the part number column. If required by contract or if the original
manufacturer of a purchased part has FAA manufacturing approval then; the original
manufacturer’s part number along with the manufacturer’s federal supply code will be
shown in parentheses following the part nomenclature. The federal supply code will be
preceded by the letter “V”.
Unless otherwise specified by contract, all government standard off-the-shelf parts
(such as MS, AN, NAS, etc.) will be identified by the assigned Parker Hannifin AWB part
number which will be used in the part number column.
