Disconnect from Power Source
Before Servicing
UV LIGHT SOURCE
Risk of exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Eye damage
may result from directly viewing the light from UV lamps.
NOTE: Handle UV lamps with clean oil free hands
or gloves.
Risk of exposure to excessive ultraviolet radiation. Do
not operate UV without complete lamp enclosure in
place or if glass viewing lens is broken. Eye damage
may result from directly viewing the light produced by
these lamps. To reduce the risk of exposure to UV radia-
tion, take UV protection measures for personnel during
servicing.
The following procedures will expose hazardous live
and moving parts.
Switch Off/isolate the electrical supply to the
CRYSTAL-AIRE

uv system.
Due to the simplicity of the design, breakdowns are
restricted to these components:
• motor/blower
• UV lamp and ballast power supply
• fan control switch
• fan speed selector
• low voltage transformer
MOTOR/BLOWER MODULE
MOVING PARTS
Motors are maintenance free. No lubrication is required.

UV LAMP BREAKAGE
CAUTION: Broken Quartz is SHARP.
Wear PPE including Tyvek suit, protective gloves, respirator
(N95 or better) and eye protection when handling broken ultra-
