Horizontal Air Flow Deflector

(Figure 7)

The horizontal air flow deflector is used to 
force airflow down to allow it to penetrate 
under heavier or wet debris.

Loosen the knob on the rear of the discharge 
opening and move the deflector to the 
desired position. Tighten the knob to hold the 
deflector in position.
Positioning the air flow deflector at a 
downward angle will force the air flow down 
at a greater angle allowing it to more easily 
work under heavier or wet debris.

NOTE: 

Ensure that the Direction control lever 

is in the correct position for side air flow.
