4.5 Assembly of the side rails (optional)
IMPORTANT
–
Please ensure that the side rail is located fully, correctly and securely into the integral
bracket, and that the hand-screws are tightened up fully to lock the side-rail in position before use.
The side rails must be fitted into the integral brackets as illustrated below, ensuring that they are pushed all the way
down to the bottom of the bracket.
The hand-screws must then be fitted onto the inside of the bracket and tightened fully to correctly and securely fix
the side rails in place. The hand-screws have a fine thread. They are different to those used to securing the bed
frame.
Do not over tighten.
4.6 Using the integral bed frame extension (optional)
IMPORTANT -
The bed must only be extended at the foot end. When extending the bed, only the
approved extension panel should be used, and this
MUST
be fitted.
Remove the lock-pins and loosen the hands-screws
on the foot frame.
Pull the foot frame out from the sleeping platform until
the second set of holes on the T brackets match the
fixing holes on the side frame.
Insert the lock-pins and tighten
‘hand-screws’ on both
sides.
Do not over tighten.
Fit the mesh extension panel
on top of the extended
T bracket.
Note:
This extension panel is an optional accessory. If you require this accessory please contact Park House
Healthcare Ltd. Tel: 0845 0600 333.
