3.1 Setup

The room in which the compressor is operated must satisfy
certain conditions [See also: 6.5 Ambient conditions for
operation]. The compressor is not intended for outdoor use.

– Air must be able to circulate freely around the compressor to
dissipate the heat it generates. Therefore, never operate the
compressor while it is covered or in a bag, because this may
cause it to overheat.
– Place the compressor on a firm, flat, dust-free, dry surface. A
soft base such as a sofa, a bed or tablecloth is not suitable
because the compressor might fall.
– Route the power adapter cable in such a way that it is not a
tripping hazard and no one can become entangled in it.
– Make sure that children cannot pull on the power adapter
cable or connection tubing and cause the compressor to fall.
– Only operate the compressor in a low-dust environment. If it is
operated in a very dusty environment (e.g., under the bed or
in workshops), or on the floor, a larger amount of dust is likely
to collect inside the housing, which may impair the quality of
the treatment or damage the compressor.
