Be careful not to slide off the recliner onto the floor due to fainting because of
anemia or a similar condition.

The patient's head or neck could get caught in the armrest or IV Pole, or the patient could fall off
the recliner, resulting in injury.
■
Raise the backrest, and then get on or off the recliner from its side with the armrests
lower.
●
If the patient gets on or off from the leg rest side,
patient may lose balance and topple over, or may
fall off the recliner and get hurt.
■
Do not sit on the armrest, lean against it.
●
If a person places body weight on the armrest, the
person could fall off or topple over the recliner,
resulting in injury or the armrest could be
damaged.
■
Lock all four casters at all times except when moving the recliner.
●
The recliner could move when a patient gets into
or out of the recliner, possibly causing injury.
■
For suitable product directly attached to the recliner such as the IV Pole attachment,
or foot rest, use only products approved by Paramount Bed.
●
The use of products other than the specified suitable products or products from other companies
could create unintended gaps, cause interference between products, or lower stability, resulting in
injury or failure of the recliner.
■
Take care not to fall off the recliner.
●
Otherwise, the patient may get injured.
●
Be particularly cautious when using the recliner in the horizontal state (as a bed).
●
If the patient gets on or off the recliner from the
back side with the backrest lowered, patient may
topple over or fall off the recliner and get hurt.
These actions may lower the product stability
and the recliner could fall off, resulting in injury
or the recliner could be damaged or deformed.
●
If the patient gets on or off with the armrests
raised,the armrests could unexpectedly move, and
the
patient’s body may lose its balance, causing
him/her to topple over or fall off and get hurt.
●
The armrests may operate unexpectedly, causing
the patient to topple over or fall off and get hurt.
■
Do not lean over to the recliner.
●
There is a risk of injury due to the recliner falling
over, or damage to the recliner.
