Side-rail are attached to both sides of the stretcher to prevent a sleeping patient from falling off
the stretcher
To Raise
Hold the top bar of the folded side-rail and lift
it up. Then, the automatic stopper will work
and ensure locking.
To Fold
Grab the stopper releasing lever, situated at
the edge of the top bar on the head end side.
Release the locking and press down.
To make it flat
Push the safety stopper to the arrow side as
indicated in the picture when you make the
side-rail lowest.

SIDE-RAIL
WARNING
Make sure that the window shows green.
If lock is insufficient, the window shows
red and side-rail may move. It might be a
cause of accident.
WARNING
Do not put anything on/in the safety stopper
when you raise the side-rail, the safety
stoppers automatically set again by spring.
Do not put anything on or in the safety
stopper. Otherwise, the stopper is not set
again may be a cause of accident or
deformation.
WARNING
Be careful finger not to be trapped when
operate safety stopper.
Do not put
anything between side-rail. Keep head,
hand and foot away from side-rail.
CAUTION
Do not misuse the side-rail
Use the side-rail under the supervision of docters or nurses.
Do not transfer the stretcher with holding the side-rail.
Otherwise it might be a cause of accident.
