The first thing to know about the Vaquita underwater camera is: how to
take off the protective End Cap for charging or handling the SD-card.
As shown above, you need to pull back the “collar” on the End Cap to
get it off. While holding this back, you will be able to pull off the End Cap.
Pull back “collar” and hold
The End Cap
Select mode
Rotate the Selector Ring, so the icon of
your desired mode is facing upwards. You
can choose between the following: Power,
Snap, Video, Custom I, Custom II,
Settings, Dive Logs, and Location. Ensure
that the Selector Ring is placed correctly.
The Selector Ring will snap to each
position, and the camera will vibrate to
confirm.
The same mechanism is used when you put the End Cap back on. Pull the
“collar” back and push the End Cap back on the camera.
Rotate the Selector Ring to the Power mode position and hold the
Activation Switch for 4 seconds to turn off the camera. The display will
then show ‘Goodbye’, and the camera will vibrate. When the display turns
black, the camera has been turned off.
