Radio-Controlled Alarm Clock
How to start:
1.
Open the battery compartment and insert one alkaline battery of the Mignon/AA/1.5 V type.
Make sure that the polarity is correct.
2.
The clock hands now move to the radio signal reception position. Then the alarm will start
searching for the radio signal.
3.
After about 5 - 10 minutes (depending on how fast the radio signal is received), the clock
hands will adjust to the correct time.
Start manual reception:
When the clock does not receive a radio signal, press and hold the RESET knob for 3 seconds. The
clock hands move to the 12:00 position. The clock will begin to search for the DCF signal. If no signal
is received, the clock will display the previously stored time.
Set the alarm:
Turn the alarm dial on the back of the clock until the alarm pointer is in the desired position.
Alarm Repetition & Light:
1.
Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT knob on the top of the clock to activate the backlight and
temporarily stop the alarm.
2.
After about 4 minutes, the alarm will sound again.
Switch alarm on/off:
1.
Slide the Alarm ON/OFF switch to the ON position to turn the alarm on.
2.
Slide the Alarm ON/OFF switch to the OFF position to turn the alarm off.

A greater distance from the transmitter (approx. 1,500 km and more). Due to the special
propagation of long waves, topographic and meteorological conditions can impair reception.
Incident:
1.
The clock hands do not move after the battery is inserted.
2.
The clock does not adjust to the correct time because it has not received a radio signal within
10 minutes of inserting the battery.
