6. Using a PROM removal tool (such as AMP Part Number 822154-1), pry up
one corner of the PROM slightly at one of the two extraction slots. Then pry it
up slightly from the opposite extraction slot. Repeat until the PROM is free of
the socket.
7. Position the new PROM in the socket.
8. Press down evenly on the PROM until it is fully seated.
9. Reassemble the top and bottom covers of the SNE2040G. Replace the four
screws, then the washer and nut holding the power receptacle.
10. Insert the power cord into the power receptacle.
