Troubleshooting 

This wine cooler has no user replaceable components. However, many common problems can be easily 

solved. Try the suggestions below to resolve the problem before calling a service provider. 

Problem

Unit does not

Circuit breaker is tripped or fuse is blown 

 

Ensure unit is correctly plugged in  

 

Check circuit breaker or fuse, and reset 

or replace if needed 

Unit turns off and 

on frequently 

 

The room temperature is hotter than normal  

 

A large number of warm bottles have been 

added to the unit  

 

The door is opened too often  

 

The door is not closed completely  

 

The temperature control is not set correctly  

 

The door gasket does not seal properly  

 

The unit does not have the correct 

clearances  

 

Cool the room if possible 

 

Avoid overloading the cooler 

 

Ensure door is kept closed and sealed 

 

Keep the door gasket clean  

 

Ensure nothing blocks the door from 

closing completely 

 

Ensure temperature control is set to 

the desired range 

 

Ensure minimum clearance space 

around and below the unit is 

maintained 

Vibrations 

 

Unit is tilted slightly. 

 

Ensure the unit is level. 

Unit makes too 

much noise 

 

The rattling noise may come from the flow 

of the refrigerant, which is normal  

 

As each cycle ends, you may hear gurgling 

sounds caused by the flow of refrigerant in 

your unit.  

 

Contraction and expansion of the inside 

walls may cause popping and cracking noise 

 

The unit is not level 

 

Some noises are the natural result of 

the cooling system  

 

Ensure unit is level 

Door doesn’t 

close properly 

 

The unit is tilted 

 

The door was reversed and not properly 

installed 

 

The gasket is dirty or bent 

 

The shelves, bins, or baskets are out of 

position 

 

Ensure unit is level 

 

Check door for proper installation 

 

Clean the gasket and replace if a bend 

stops door from closing 

 

Reposition interior shelves, bins, and 

baskets as needed 

Ice/frost forms 

inside the unit 

 

High humidity 

 

Door is not kept closed 

 

Door seal is faulty 

 

Unit is overloaded 

 

Frequent opening of door 

 

Defrost as needed 

 

Ensure door is fully closed 

 

Replace faulty door seal 

 

Remove excess bottles 

 

Keep door closed in high humidity
