ACPI Configuration
The
ACPI Configuration
menu configures the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) and
Power Management (APM) options.

ACPI Aware O/S [Yes]
Use the
ACPI Aware O/S
option to enable the system to configure ACPI power saving options. ACPI can
only be implemented if the system OS complies with the ACPI standard. Windows 98, Windows 2000, and
Windows XP all comply with ACPI.

disabled if the OS does not support ACPI
