Use the wheelchair equipped with P3 appropriately. Avoid dangerous slopes, descending
steps, proceed without braking towards obstacles such as edges, structures, steps, etc.

Do not exceed 15km/h because the user could lose control of the wheelchair, with
consequent overturning

Do not exceed 15km/h because collisions could occur

In the event of a collision, injuries, even serious, could occur

In case of wet asphalt or uneven ground there is a risk of slipping. Therefore, drive carefully
and observe the conditions of use

Drive carefully at narrow passages

It is forbidden to climb steps higher than 3 cm along the road

Respect the use limitations provided by the user manual of the manual wheelchair on which
the P3 system is installed

It is forbidden to drive the wheelchair on slopes greater than 12%

In case of wet or uneven ground the values relating to the maximum allowed slope are
reduced, in order to protect the user safety

Avoid contact or penetration of liquids or dusts into the device

The components of the brake system could reach high temperatures during use and this can
cause skin burns. Pay close attention during use.

3.2

Intended use

By using P3 devices, an auxiliary push system can be added to most manual wheelchairs, quickly and
easily.  By  hooking  P3  to  the  wheelchair,  the  front  wheels  are  raised  and  a  single  steering  wheel
belonging to the "traction unit" is used instead.

P3 falls within the use class of the wheelchair to which it is attached, according to the CEI EN 12184
standard.  Furthermore,  P3  meets  the  specific  requirements  of  class  B  with  a  maximum  range  of
approximately 60 km (in the version equipped with a charged 16 Ah battery, flat path and user weight
of 75 kg).

In accordance with the definition of class B of the CEI EN 12184 standard, the device is intended for
indoor use and able of overcoming outdoor obstacles.

Any other use or misuse can cause dangerous events.

3.3 Usage environment

The P3 devices are designed for use in combination with most manual wheelchairs on the market. The
P3 solutions allow use both indoors and outdoors, with the limitations indicated in this document, and
in general with the same limitations imposed by the use of the manual wheelchair.

3.4 Use limitations

The device must be used consistently with the intended use described in the preceding paragraphs,
any other must be considered improper use.
