Important
Changes in the configuration switches are applied during the start-
up of the receiver. If you have performed any changes while the
receiver was ON, turn the power switch OFF and ON again to restart
the product.
Wireless synchronization is not necessary if the wireless system
uses a single receiver and there is no DECT system on the same
floor or in the vicinity. Use the receiver as a stand-alone system.
When wireless synchronization is enabled, the antenna connected
to the [ANTENNA 1] connector on a receiver becomes the reference
antenna for that system (receiver).
The reference antenna of the main system will be used as the
reference for wireless synchronization with other systems.
When there is no antenna connected to the [ANTENNA 1] connector
on a receiver, that receiver will operate in stand-alone mode and will
not be able to perform wireless synchronization with other systems.
The reference antenna of the sub-systems will be used for detecting
main system. When a system set to “sub-system” is turned ON, it will
search for main systems within the range of its reference antenna,
and, if it finds main system, it will start wireless synchronization and
will try to stay synchronized as long as possible.
When a system set to “sub-system” is turned ON and cannot find a
main system within its range, it will operate in stand-alone mode and
will not perform wireless synchronization. Also, if there is no antenna
connected to the [ANTENNA 1] connector on a receiver, that
receiver will operate in stand-alone mode and will not be able to
perform wireless synchronization with other systems.
When there are multiple sub systems, set the antenna field selection
for the reference antenna of the main system in reference to the
coverage areas on page 38 so that it covers the reference
antennas of all sub systems.
