The camera starts
panning unpredict-
ably.
• This may be caused by noise.
Check the exogenous noise level around the camera.
11
• The protection circuit against high temperature may function.
When the digital flip (function to turn the screen upside-
down when tilting exceeds a certain angle) continues for
a given time in high temperature, the system releases
the digital flip and operates panning and tilting automati-
cally to return the screen to the original position.
• The position refresh may be done automatically to
improve the positional accuracy of PAN, TILT and ZOOM
when turned on in low temperature, which is not a failure.

• Is the Ethernet cable connected appropriately?

Audio input contains
noise.
• Check the following.
• Grounding of the camera, a switching hub or periph-
eral devices are not done.
• The camera is used near an electrical power line.
• The camera is used near a device which produces
strong magnetic field or radio waves (such as near a
TV/radio antenna, a motor of an air conditioning sys-
tem, a transformer, etc.)
When audio input still contains noise even after check-
ing the above possibilities, use a powered microphone
or connect audio output with low output impedance.
