Cleaning the drive rollers, free rollers, and exit rollers

Turn off the scanner.

Pull the exit door release to open the
exit door.

Use the roller cleaning paper (KV-
SS03) to remove the dirt from the
surfaces of the 4 drive rollers and the 2
exit rollers.

When wiping off the dirt on the roller
surfaces, hold the rollers to prevent them
from rotating, and wipe the roller all the
way around them proceeding from one
end to the other in the direction of the
arrows shown in the figure.

Use the roller cleaning paper (KV-
SS03) to remove the dirt from the
surfaces of the 6 free rollers.

When wiping off the dirt on the roller
surfaces, hold the rollers to prevent them
