What is ECONAVI?
O
When the keep warm function is in use, the Rice Cooker applies an amount of
heat corresponding to the amount of rice.
Is ECONAVI available
for all programs?
O
ECONAVI will work after cooking using the “Delicious”, “Quick”, “Eco”,
“1-2 person” or “Sushi” programs.
ECONAVI will not work with the following programs which are not
recommended to use the keep warm function.
(“Rice”, “Congee”, “Mixed”, “Casserole”, “Cake”, “Steam”, “Soup”.)
Why doesn’t the
ECONAVI lamp light
up during the keep
warm state?
O
Are you using the “To increase the keep warm temperature.” (P.34) or “If the
keep warm state is a concern.” (P.35) setting?
ECONAVI is not available except the keep warm temperature is set as 60.
O
ECONAVI may not work if the Rice Cooker is cooking a large quantity (7 cups
or more in the 1.8L model, or 5 cups or more in the 1.0L model) when the
room temperature at the start of cooking is 10°C or less.
O
Have you switched off the keep warm function after cooking?
When the keep warm function is switched off, ECONAVI is also switched off.
ECONAVI will not operate, even if keep warm is restarted.
O
Is the ECONAVI lamp set to off? The ECONAVI lamp can be switched off. (See below)
Why does the
ECONAVI lamp switch
off during operation?
O
Has the keep warm function been in operation for 12 hours or more?
After 12 hours, the keep warm function continues to operate but ECONAVI ends.
Can I switch the
ECONAVI lamp off?
O
Setting this will cause the ECONAVI lamp to turn off, however ECONAVI will
continue operating.

Comparison of when ECONAVI is used/not used during the keep warm state. (Researched by Panasonic)
Savings of 0.3 to 14.7% are made with the SR-SSS105 and 2.4 to 18.6% are made with the SR-SSS185.
The precise saving depends on how long the keep warm function is used.
Note also that these figures are approximate and may differ in actual usage.

Is the Inner Pan set properly?
After you turn off the error message by pressing the “Cancel/Off” button,
set the provided Inner Pan to operate it again.

Is the foreign object or dirt attached to the bottom part of the Inner Pan, the
Inner Lid, the Lid Sensor, the Pan Sensor or the Water Vessel Sensor? (P.8)
Remove the foreign object or dirt and press the “Cancel/Off” button.
O
Is there too much water in the Inner Pan?
Press the “Cancel/Off” button.
(Upon next cooking, reduce the amount of water slightly.)

Has the keep warm function been in use for more than 96 hours?
Press the “Cancel/Off” button.

Is the Outer Lid open?

Is the Steam Cap fitted? (P.24)
If the Steam Cap has been lost, please purchase another one from an
authorized service center (as described in the Warranty).
Rice can be cooked or kept warm without the Steam Cap fitted, however

The rice may not taste good. (The rice will become dry if it is being kept warm.)

Congee may not cook properly.
•
O
Liquid may spill out.
•
O
“U15” may be displayed again after the rice has been cooked.
O
Is the Water Vessel attached?
* Rice can be kept warm without the Water Vessel, however the rice may
become swollen due to water absorption or dry.
O
Is the intake or exhaust vent on the bottom of the Rice Cooker blocked by dust
etc.?
Remove the dust using the following procedure.

Press the “Cancel/Off” button and then remove the Power Plug.
②OO
Once the body has cooled down, remove the Inner Pan and the Water
Vessel.
③OO
Remove the dust from the intake/exhaust vents on the bottom of the
Rice Cooker. (P.26)

Is the Rice Cooker being used on a carpet etc.? (P.8)
Do not use the Rice Cooker in a location where the bottom of the Rice
Cooker is restricted.
If none of the methods described above brings an improvement, please consult an authorized service center (as
described in the Warranty) for a repair.

Try removing the Power Plug and reinserting it. If “H

” appears again, this
is a malfunction.
Please consult an authorized service center (as described in the Warranty)
and inform them of the error message (the two-digit number after the “H”).
