3. Mounting

Insert this product by
applying equivalent
foce to both knobs.

Push out the knobs outward
to remove
SL-VVMES2 .
Apply equivalent force to the
knobs to remove.

<Step>
1. Pull out the backplane jumper that corresponds to the slot inside the VME bus
rack.
2. Insert SL-VVMES2 in the VME bus rack.
3. After inserting SL-VVMES2 to the VME bus rack, be sure to mount it with M2.5
screws (two places).
Remove
<Step>
1. Loosen the mounting screws (two places).
2. Push out the knobs to remove
SL-VVMES2 , and pull it out from the VME bus
rack.
3. If required, mount the backplane jumper that corresponds to the slot inside the
VME bus rack.
Notes: 1) For details of mounting and removing, refer to the instruction manual of VME bus rack.

When mounting SL-VVMES2 , be sure to pull out the backplane jumper that corresponds to the slot
inside the VME bus rack. If the jumper is not pulled out, this product may break.
3) In case of inserting SL-VVMES2 #$% ' ! '
come in contact with the adjacent VME bus module.
4) Before touching this product, remove any electrostatic charge that may be present on your body.
There is a danger of this product getting damaged due to the electrostatic charge.
