1. Handling MD Unit
- Magnetic head is structurally precise, and is fragile. Handle
with care to avoid deformation.
- The laser diode located in the optical pickup may be damaged
by static electricity generated from clothes or human body.
Handle with care to avoid such a situation.
- Do not apply impact to the optical pickup, which employs an
extremely precision technique. Do not touch the lens.
2. Handling Magnetic Head
- Do not fasten the fitting screw (RH17022) too tightly to avoid
resin parts after replacing a magnetic head, or the head
position may be dislocated, and this will affect recording
quality.
Recommended torque of fitting screw: 700g.cm ± 100g.cm
Cf.

thumb and index finger will be an adequate degree of tightness.)
