11.1. Procedure for Displaying Error Codes
1. Supply the power.
2. Press [CD / ] button. (The power is turned on, and the unit is
now set to CD mode.)
3. Press (OPEN/CLOSE [ ] button to open the disc tray. Insert the
test disc (SZZP1054C), and press [OPEN/CLOSE ] button to
close the disc tray. (Cf. Fig. 10)
4. While pressing and holding down [STOP ] button on the unit,
press the number key on the remote controller, (4) and then (7).
([ ] is lit on the FL display.)
5. When the number key, [15] ([ 10] [1] [5]) is pressed, an
error code appears as a result of automatic adjustment. Error
codes help to detect the faulty parts in the servo circuit. The code
“E-0” means “no faulty operation”.
6. Press POWER button to turn off the power (or the unit will remain
in the automatic adjustment display mode). (Cf. Fig. 10)
7. Press POWER button again, and press [OPEN/CLOSE ] button
to remove the test disc. (Fig. 10)
