The main unit/charging base is hot
●
The main unit, charging base and charging adapter may become warm during/after operation and while
charging, but this is normal.
The main unit does not return to the charging base
●
Is the charging adapter fully inserted in the wall socket?
●
Is the charging adapter plug fully inserted in the connector of the charging base? (P.EN12)
●
Is there an obstacle within approx. 100 cm in front of the charging base or within approx. 50 cm of the
sides? (P.EN12)
●
Is a foreign object stuck under the charging base lifting it slightly?
●
Is the brush cover attached correctly? (P.EN20)
●
The main unit moves slower than normal operation when returning to the charging base. The returning
operation may repeat a few times before the main unit returns completely to the charging base. Wait until it
completes the operation.
●
If the main unit is next to the charging base, the main unit may not receive the signals from the charging
base correctly and fail to return to it.
Put the main unit approx. 50 cm from the front of the charging base, and press the Home button. If the
main unit returns to the charging base, then the main unit is operating normally.

Is the infrared receiver on the main unit or the infrared transmitter on the charging base dirty?

Have you put a thick sticker or placed an object on the main unit?
●
Are you using the unit in a place exposed to direct sunlight, or is the charging base located near appliances
that emit infrared light? (e.g. halogen heaters, remote controllers of other appliances, etc.)
Sunlight or the infrared light emitted by appliances can interfere with the infrared communications between
the main unit and the charging base. This may result in the main unit failing to return to the charging base.

Shut out sunlight with a curtain or similar
(Sunlight entering through frosted glass may also have the same effect)

If appliances emitting infrared light is located nearby, move them away from the main unit and the
charging base

Depending on the distance from the charging base, the main unit may not be able to return to the charging base.

Is a foreign object such as cotton waste or hair tangled
in the rotating brush or side brush?

The main unit is bumping into obstacles
(or more frequently)
●
Is the ultrasonic/infrared sensor dirty?

●
The main unit does not have sensors to detect
obstacles on the rear, so it may bump into obstacles
when reversing.
●
The main unit cannot avoid the feet of tables and
chairs, dark-colored walls, furniture, sliding doors and
curtains, or furniture and utensils on casters such as
TV tables.
The main unit cannot avoid a height difference
and falls
●
The fall prevention sensors do not detect a height
difference of less than 10 cm. (P.EN8)
●
Are the fall prevention sensors dirty?
