There is no additional operation required once you set the parameter by following the procedure on page
196. The parameter, “
OFF ” or “ ON ”, cannot be selected for each reception. It is always “ OFF ” or “ ON ” until
you change the setting.

If your machine's Transmission Password coincides with
the other station's Transmission Password, your machine
starts sending the document.
When transmission is completed, PASSWORD-XMT
returns to standard setting (“
OFF ” or “ ON ”).
Using Password Reception
