7. Diagnosing problems with the optical pick-up and
repair procedure
7.1. Self-diagnosis
As a new feature, this unit has an “optical pick-up problem diagnosis function” and “a tilt
adjustment confirmation function” built in. Use the following procedure to efficiently determine
the problem and adjusttilt.If "NO DISC" is displayed, before exchanging the optical pick-up,
carry out problem diagnosis first. If the present laser driving current is over 55, the optical pick-
up may need to be exchanged.
