Caution:
When using the laser to check playback, under no circumstances should the laser light be looked at directly.
3.1. Board checks
1. Connect the main board with the traverse unit with an extension cable. (Run the extension cable through the square hole in the
cabinet bottom jig.)
Note:
Do not let FFC float up above the upper surface of the traverse unit in order to avoid scratching the disc.
2. Disassemble the LCD drive board and the inverter unit as shown in the diagram.
3. Playback with the outer cover off is not possible, so use the connector tool (JGS0117) connected to the connector (FP5002) to
short SW5001 and 5002.
