2.3. Removing the LCD panel
Proceed only with the inverter unit removed.
1. Disengage the tabs. (In 7 places.)
2. Remove the LCD panel making sure not to damage it.
3. To reassemble, carefully repeat the steps for disassembly
in reverse order.
Note:

Firmly engage the locks on the lockable connector.
2.4. Removing the LCD Drive
P.C.B.
1. Disengage the lockable connector, and then unplug the
flexible cable. (In 3 places.)
2. Remove the screws from the metal attachments on the LCD
display.
3. Remove the metal attachments on the LCD display.
4. Remove the metal attachments on the LCD display.
5. Slide in the direction shown.
6. To reassemble, carefully repeat the steps for disassembly
in reverse order.
Note:
·
Firmly engage the locks on the lockable connector.
<LC panel handling precautions>
1.
If burn on appears on the LC panel, leave it for a day with
the power off.
2.
The LC panel is a high grade glass product. It can easily be
damaged by vibration, shocks and twisting.Do not press on
the panel surface. This can cause deterioration of the
picture and malfunction.
3.
Do not touch the terminals of the flexible cable with bare
hands. This can cause damage through static electricity.
4.
Sticking of the waterdrop to the LC panel surface causes
discoloration or stain. Wipe off quickly.
(Care)
1.
Clean the surface with gauze or other soft cloth soaked in
isopropyl alcohol or benzene.
2.
Do not wipe the surface with dry gauze, as this can scratch
the surface.
3.
When cleaning, do not use water, cetones (acetone, etc.),
aromatic compounds (xylene, toluene, etc.), or halogens
under any circumstances.
