Use the automatic ice maker comfortably
Automatic ice making, please use drinking water.
Clean the Water Reservoir and Ice Making Box with water frequently. (P. 21 )
When using the following kinds
of water, flush the Water
Reservoir frequently! (P. 21 )
The following liquids shall not be stored in the Water Reservoir.
(These liquids may damage the Ice Making
Compartment or cause ice cubes to stick to each other.)
Water hardness
shall be 100mg/L
or lower.

Notices
Do not open or close the Ice compartment harshly.
(The ice may fall into the Quick Freezing Compartment or other places.)
Do not pour water directly into the Ice-making tray to make ice.
(This may damage the ice maker or ice cubes may stick together.)
Do not pour water directly into the Ice Storage Box to make ice.
(Otherwise, the Ice Storage Box may be damaged.)
Water hardness shall be 100mg/L or lower.
The minerals may appear as white floating particles, which are not
harmful to the human body.
Do not put foods or other food products in the Ice compartment.
(Otherwise, the quantity of ice made cannot be detected correctly,
and the automatic ice making may stop, or the sluice gate may
not be opened.)
When the Ice compartment is used for the first time, the Ice-making
tray etc. may contain peculiar smells and dusts.
Please discard the first batch of ice cubes made.
When the Ice Storage Box is full of ice
cubes, the automatic ice making
operation is to stop automatically.
(This operation cannot work properly
in the following conditions.)
The Ice shovel left in the Ice
storage box hits the Ice
Sensing Lever.
The ice cubes are piled too
high such that they touch
the Ice Sensing Lever.
Ice detection Lever
(When pressed, stops the auto ice making function.)
The following situations will take longer.
Use the refrigerator for the first time.
(It may take 24 hours or longer because the automatic ice
making function can be activated only when the temperature
of the refrigerator interior is low enough.)
Frequently open the refrigerator doors.
The refrigerator doors are ajar.
Store a large amount of foods inside the refrigerator at the
same time.
The room temperature is too low in winter or too high in
summer.
A power failure has occurred.
The washable Ice-making tray has been cleaned. (P. 21 )
