Defrost Control
a) If AT < 13
C
Defrost cycle is fixed to 16 hours (r stopping)
b) If 18
C < AT < 22
C
If doors aren’t opened during defrost cycle time; defrost cycle is max. 8 hours of compressor running accumulated time or 18
hours of compressor stopping accumulated time.
If doors are opened or previous defrosting is long, defrost cycle time is shortened according to special algorithm.
Minimum defrost cycle time can be 6 hours of compressor running accumulated time
c) If 22
C
AT < 30
C
Defrost cycle is fixed to 48 hours (r stopping)
If doors are opened or previous defrosting is long, defrost cycle time is shortened according to special algorithm.
Minimum defrost cycle time can be 24 hours total time
d) If AT
30
C ;
If door isn’t opened during defrost cycle time; defrost cycle is max. 18 hours of compressor running accumulated time or 28
hours of compressor stopping accumulated time.
Normally defrost function will be completed when defrost sensor reaches to 8
C, however if defrost time exceeds 37min, com-
pletion temperature increases to 12
C. Compressor will run 5 min. after defrost completion. Fan motor starts 3 min. after com-
pressor. Compressor will run 20 min. continuously after defrost.
4.3.
Fan Control
a) If 24
C
AT Sensor < 32
C and freezer is set to -17
C or colder and cooler is set to 4
C or warmer
Fan will work together with compressor except below condition :
If stopping time more than one hour and refrigerator temperature warmer than damper on set values ,fan will work untill refriger-
ator temperature reach damper off values.
Important Function:
If compressor works in together with fan for 1 hour and cooler compartment still can't reach damper close value, damper-fan-
compressor will work separately until cooler compartment reaches damper close value. When it reaches to this value, they
return to working together again.
b) For other conditions:
Fan and compressor doesn`t work together except the condition above. While compressor is working, evaporator fan is also
works.
If cooler compartment isn’t cold enough fan continues to work until fridge temperature decreases to [damper close set value].
If both fridge and freezer temperature is at damper close set value, fan stops.
4.3.1.
Test Control at the plugging in of the appliance
If FCC sensor > -5
C and DFC sensor > -5
C;
Set defrost and drain heater ON for 5secs. then set them OFF
Set evap. fan motor ON for 5secs. then set it OFF
Set compressor ON for 5secs. then set it OFF
Other controls can be done via Service Mode
