7.4.7. Gluing
1. After all work completed, glue 2 Adjustment Pins, and assembling the Filter Ring and Decoring Unit.
7.4.8. Procedure for Visual Checking (RP Chart)
1. Mount repaired Lens on master camera sample. (valid pixels : 16M pixels image sensor)
2. Mount master camera on tripod.
3. Set camera as next.
- Aperture : AE priority by Rear Mode Dial
- Focus : AFS
- ISO : 200
- OIS : OFF
- White Balance : AWB
- AF Mode : 1- Area (Focus subject in AF area)
- Metering Mode : Centre weighted (Focus and measure the subject on the centre of the screen)
- Picture Size : L (16M)
- Picture Quality : Fine (JPEG Give priority to the picture quality)
4. Adjustment distance between the camera and RP-Chart so that picture size and horizontal level in
TELE (RP Chart M-Size) and WIDE (RP Chart L-Size) is full display (camera LCD).
5. Focus on centre in the open aperture state (TELE : 4.0, WIDE : 2.8), take photo by self-timer mode
as camera shake does not occur.
6. As the Shutter Speed of photo taken will be 1/30
~
1/125, adjust the shooting enviroment. (Brightness)
(The Shutter Speed is confirmed in the Exif information)
7. Shooting photos to display at an equal magnification on the PC screen.
By visual check : None piece out-of-focus of resolution number at horizontal and vertical direction.
The balance of resolution number at horizotal and vertical direction is maintained.
Observation point : Four corners (Angle of view 0.7 and wedge-shaped mark of the outermost)
8. If it has piece out-of-focus, repeat the 1st Lens Frame Adjustment.
(If it has piece out-of-focus more than three times, implement the re-assembly and re-exchange
of replacement parts.)
