Using with your PC
Some computers can read directly from the camera’s memory card.
For details, see the manual for your computer.
Still/motion pictures can be copied from the camera to your computer by connecting the
two together.
• Copied pictures can then be printed out or sent by e-mail using the ‘PHOTOfunSTUDIO’
software on the CD-ROM (supplied).

• USB connection cables cannot be used with Windows 95, Mac OS 8.x, or older versions
of either, but still/motion pictures may still be copied with compatible SD memory card
reader/writers.

Copying still pictures and motion pictures

Select ‘PC’ on the camera
A message may be displayed on screen
if ‘USB MODE’ (P.24) is set to ‘PictBridge
(PTP)’. Select ‘CANCEL’ to close the
screen, and set ‘USB MODE’ to ‘PC’.
Operate with your

Check socket direction and insert straight in.
(Damage to socket shape can lead to faulty operation.)
