Taking Pictures with Macro Mode

When you take pictures from a distance 
closer, set the camera in macro mode [

]. 

This allows you to get closer to the subject up 
to 5 cm (Wide).

Set the mode dial to Macro mode [

].

Take a picture.

• Select the flash setting depending on the situation. (P36)
• The available flash range is about 30 cm – 2.1 m. (When setting to ISO100)
• When the shutter jiggle alert is displayed, we recommend to use the flash.
• When the camera lens is at a distance over the available range from the subject, 

focus may not be adjusted even if the focus indication appears.
