SECTION 3 ADJUSTMENTS

1.Software Update Procedures

5M56M applied Mstar solution, there're two way of upgrading software when the mainboard cannt boot
correctly, they're programming tool upgrade and serial port upgrade.

1.1. Upgrade by programming tool

1.1.1. Open the “Flypro”

*upgrading by programming tool is the most effecient way of upgrading, which is suitable for dealing with vast number of

software failure.But this method requires detaching flash IC from main board, which involves a certain risk, precautious is

needed

1.1.2. Detach flash IC from the mainboard then fix it on the programming tool on the right

direction.

*Note:Flash IC needs to be fixed on the right direction, otherwise programming will not be able to detect Flash IC
