The overheating safety
function triggers when the

Is the pan/pot empty?
Have the contents of the
pan/pot dried out and
burned onto the base?
Turn the power off.
Make sure that there is food
in the pan/pot together with
sufficient liquid. Turn the
power on again.
The IH does not heat up
despite the display being
normal (the display is not
blinking) and "U13"
appeared after about 15
minutes.
The IH thermistor has short-
circuited.
