Intercom
Intercom calls can be made between
handsets.
Note:
R When paging unit(s), the paged unit(s)
beeps for 1 minute.
R If you receive an outside call while talking
on the intercom, the interrupt tone sounds.
To finish intercom, press
M OFF N . To answer
the call, press M TALK/ ZN .
R To change the handset ringer volume and
ringer tone for intercom, see page 37.
Making an intercom call

Voice
paging ” a M SELECT N
R If you select “ Voice paging ” , speak
into the microphone after the beep.
Your voice will be heard using the
speakers of all handsets, until a paged
party answers your page or until you

M OFF N .
After the other party answers, the
speakerphone mode is turned on.

When you finish talking, press M OFF N .
Note:
R You can also use the M INTERCOM N soft
key, if displayed, to make intercom calls.
R You cannot use voice paging if other units
are in use.
Answering an intercom call

Press M TALK/ ZN to answer the page.

When you finish talking, press M OFF N .
Turning auto intercom on/off
This feature allows the handset to answer
intercom calls automatically when it is called.
You do not need to press
M TALK/ ZN . When
this feature is set to “
On
” , the monitoring
handset for the baby monitor feature
(page 43) will also answer baby monitor
calls automatically. The default setting is
“
Off
” .
