No dial tone

Use only the telephone line cord
supplied.

Check that the telephone line cord
is connected properly.
●
Check that the mains power is
connected properly.
No display
●
Check that the batteries are
inserted correctly and fully
charged. Use only approved
rechargeable batteries supplied.
●
Check that the handset is switched
on. Press and hold

●
Reset the unit by removing the
batteries and disconnecting the
mains power. Wait for around
15 seconds before connecting
it again. Allow up to one minute
for the handset and base to
synchronize.
“BUSY” is displayed
●
Another handset is in use. Wait
and try again later.

Handset is out of range. Move
closer to the base.

Make sure that the handset is
registered to the base, see page 27.

Check that the mains power is
connected properly and switched
on.
Voicemail
Voicemail is an automatic answering
service offered by your service
provider/telephone company. After
you subscribe to the service, your
service provider/telephone company’s
voicemail system answers calls for
you when you are unavailable to
answer the phone or when your line is
busy. Messages are recorded by your
service provider/telephone company,
not your telephone. When you have
new messages
is displayed
on the handset if message service
indication is available. Please contact
your service provider/telephone
company for details of this service.
Important:
If
still remains on the display
even after you have listened to new
messages turn it off by pressing
and holding
L

while viewing all
voicemail entries of Caller List.
