Inserting the batteries

Use only D (LR20) alkaline batteries.

Do not use manganese, Ni-Cd, or
Ni-MH batteries.

Remove the rear cover.

While holding the rear cover, twist
the front of the unit in the direction
shown below, and then remove
the rear cover.

Remove the battery cover.

Press the tabs on the top and
bottom of the unit as shown, and
then remove the battery cover.

Insert the batteries.

Confirm the polarities ( , ).

Attach the battery cover.

Attach the rear cover.
