If you enter a different character by mistake, press the Navigator Key [

] to highlight the
character, press
Clear
to delete it, then enter the correct character.

To clear an entire line, press
Clear
for more than 1 second.

Basic Operation
Going off- and on-hook
There are several ways to go off-hook and on-hook:
R
Using the corded handset
R
Using the /[SP-PHONE], /[HEADSET], /[CANCEL] key
R
Using the soft key
Going off-hook
In this manual, when you see the phrase "off-hook", you can do any of the following:
R
Lift the corded handset off its cradle.
R
Press /[SP-PHONE] while the corded handset is on its cradle. This enables hands-free mode.
R
Press /[HEADSET] when using a headset.
R
Press the corresponding function key to select a line.
*1 When a function key is assigned as a Line key, this feature is available.
Going on-hook
In this manual, when you see the phrase "on-hook", you can do any of the following:
R
Replace the corded handset on its cradle.
R
Press /[SP-PHONE], /[CANCEL] when you are in hands-free mode.
R
Press /[HEADSET], /[CANCEL] when using a headset.
R
Press /[CANCEL].
