Clearing Paper Jams
Torn paper, thin paper or paper that is creased on the top edge may cause paper jams. If a paper jam occurs,
remove the jammed sheet according to the following procedure.
CAUTION
•
Do not touch the conveyor immediately after continuous scanning.
This area becomes very hot and can cause burns.
Wait until the conveyor’s temperature decreases.

Push the ADF door release (

) upwards, and open the ADF door (
B
).
•
Remove any documents from the feed tray.
