WARNING!
• Do not use this device for any purpose other than therapy.

• Do not use this device simultaneously with other medical devices or in combination with
medicinal ointments (or sprays).

• Do not immerse the pads into water, splash water on the pads, or take a bath with the product
in operation.
• Do not use the product where there is high humidity, such as in a bathroom.
- Doing so will result in a strong electric shock.
• During operation, keep the pads away from metallic objects, such as belt buckles or
necklaces.
- Doing so may result in a strong electric shock or burns.
• Do not allow children or persons who are unable to express themselves to use the device.
• Also do not allow persons who are unable to operate the device by themselves to use the
device.
- Doing so may result in an accident or injury.

• Attach the pads to the skin so they do not overlap.
• Do not bend the pads.
• Try to avoid touching the adhesive surface with your fingers.
• If the pads lose their adhesive strength, clean them. (See page GB15.)
• Do not use the pads when they are wet.
Shake off any water and air-dry the adhesive surfaces before using the pads.
Handling the pads
DANGER!
• Never use the product in combination with the following medical devices:
(1) Implanted electronic medical device, such as a pacemaker
(2) Life support medical device, such as a heart-lung machine
(3) Attached medical device, such as an electrocardiograph
- Doing so may cause an accident or noticeable bodily impairment.
WARNING!
• The following persons should consult with a physician before using this product and when
undergoing treatment:
(1) Those with an acute illness
(2) Those with malignant tumors
(3) Those with an infectious disease
(4) Those who are pregnant, menstruating, or who have recently given birth
(5) Those with heart problems
(6) Those having a body temperature (fever) of 38
°
C or higher
(Example: when feeling weak or having severe symptoms of acute inflammation, such as
malaise, chills, or fluctuating blood pressure)
(7) Those who are anemic
(8) Those with an abnormal skin condition (infectious disease or injury)
(9) Those suffering from abnormally high blood pressure (180 mmH
g
or higher)
(10) Those requiring rest or in physically poor shape
(11) Those with acute pain, such as backbone fracture, sprain, torn muscle, etc.
(12) Those with sensory loss caused by advanced peripheral circulatory disorders, such as
due to diabetes
(13) Besides the above, those feeling physical discomfort
- Failure to do so may result in an accident or health problems.
• Be sure to turn off the power before attaching, reattaching or detaching the pads.
- Failure to do so may result in a strong electric shock or burn.
• Do not wrap the cord while the pads are attached to your skin.
• Wrap the cord after attaching the pads to the pad storage plate.
- Failure to do so may result in injury.
• Do not use the device on areas close to the heart, on the face or head, in the mouth, genitals,
or where there is a skin disease.
- Doing so may cause an accident or health problems.
• Do not use the device while you are asleep.
- Doing so may cause an accident or injury, such as with the cord becoming entangled around
your neck. Furthermore, the pads may attach to another part of the body (near the heart, on
the face or head, in the mouth, genitals, or where there is a skin condition) and cause an
accident or health problems.
