Removing the air filter unit
First, remove the standard air filter unit attached to the projector.

1) Turn off the power of the projector, and disconnect the power plug
from the outlet.

Make sure to follow the procedure in “Switching off the projector”
described in the Operating Instructions of the projector when turning
off the power.
2) Remove the air filter cover.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to turn the air filter cover fixing screw
counterclockwise until it turns freely
(Fig. 1)
, and open the air filter
cover for approximately 90°, and then pull out in the direction of the
arrow.

Loosen the air filter cover fixing screw while holding the air filter cover
with your hand.
