Using the Optical Image Stabilizer
When using this function, you can minimize
shutter jiggle.

• The menu will disappear.
• Only when selecting [OFF], the

• When too much jiggle happens or when taking a picture chasing a moving subject,
it may not be stabilized.
• The stabilizer function may be less effective in the digital zoom zone.
• When taking pictures with a low shutter speed such as night portrait, the stabilizer
function may be less effective.
• When the zoom lever is close to T and the shutter speed is slower than 1/125, the
shutter jiggle alert

appears.
• We recommend using a tripod when the shutter jiggle alert appears.
• In simple mode [
], the stabilizer function is fixed to [ON].
