This is optimal for taking pictures underwater and at the beach. Depth meter will automatically
operate. It can be a rough indication of how deep you have gone underwater. You can use
[Color Reproduction]

in the [Rec] menu and take pictures underwater without losing the
red tinge.

Make sure to perform [Depth indicator] in [GPS/Sensor] menu to set the depth meter before
you dive underwater.

About the underwater screen display
When [DISP.] is pressed several times, the environment information
screen for the depthmeter, etc. is displayed.

Depth meter will display the depth to 13 m (43 feet) in 3 levels.

Camera will automatically set to the optimal picture quality for underwater from the depth
information. Icons showing the picture quality will switch in such a case.

You are approaching a depth of 13 m (43 feet), which is the
diving limit of this unit. Please be aware.

There is risk that depth has exceeded 13 m (43 feet).
