Setting the White Balance
With the auto white balance you can
automatically adjust the natural color tone,
but in some particular situations,
depending on light and environment
conditions, you cannot do it and you have
to adjust the white balance manually.
[Preparation]
• Set the REC/power switch to [ON]. (P18)

• AUTO: if the auto white balance is set
•
(Daylight): for recording outdoors
on a bright day
•
(Cloudy): for recording under
cloudy and shady sky
•
(Halogen): for recording under
halogen lamp
•
(Night scene): for taking a picture
in a night scene
•
(White set): for manual setting
(Read the following page where the
manual setting is explained in detail)

Press the [MENU] button.
• The menu will disappear.

Take a picture.
• The recording method is the same as
in [Taking Pictures]. (P26)
• When setting the white balance mode to Night scene [
], the flash mode is
automatically set to Slow synchro. And it is possible to set the flash mode to only
Forced OFF or Slow synchro.
