p
If the pan-tilt head is not going to be used, do not leave it standing but ensure
without fail that it is removed.
p
Use the AC adapter (AW-PS300A or AW-PS550) to supply power to the pan-tilt
head.
Do not use other AC adapters or units since they may burst into flames or emit
smoke.
p
When handling the pan-tilt head, be absolutely sure to hold it by its base.
Trouble may be caused if the rotating part is held or rotated by hand.
p
The maximum load is 4 kg (8.8 lbs). However, if the unit’s balance cannot be
adjusted properly, no guarantees can be made for the unit’s functions and
performance so refrain from using accessories which add to the unit’s weight.
(Refer to page 17 for the balance adjustment procedure.)
p
After installing the pan-tilt head, mount the camera onto it.
p
When mounting the camera, take every means to ensure that the camera will not
become dislodged and prevent it from falling out of place.
p
Products other than a camera and lens, such as a prompter, may not be mounted
on the pan-tilt head.
p
For the lens, use the recommended lens model (page 46) that corresponds to the
camera to be used.
Do not use a lens that is not among the ones recommended.
