Mounting
Mounting the buildup adapter
When the buildup unit has been mounted on a tripod, secure the pan lock lever and tilt lock lever of the
tripod. If these levers are not secured, the center of gravity will shift, causing the tripod to topple over and
possibly resulting in injury.

With the accessory lock base positioned in the direction shown in the figure, mount it securely using
the four screws which are incorporated into the lock base.
If the screws for the lock base are not tightened up sufficiently, the buildup adapter may teeter or even fall
off after it has been mounted onto this base, possibly resulting in injury.

Remove the connector cap.
Keep this in a safe place to ensure that it will not be lost or misplaced.

Align the guide pins (large and small) to mount the buildup adapter, and turn the lock knob in the
direction of the arrow and tighten it securely.
If the lock knob is not tightened up sufficiently, the buildup adapter may teeter or even fall off after it has
been mounted, possibly resulting in injury.
