6.2 Items to Check during Wiring

■

System configuration example

(1) Checking connections of each device

Check to make sure that each device has been connected as indicated by the design.

(2) Checking the installation of the external safety circuit

Check to make sure the safety circuit (wiring and installation of over limit switch) based on the

external circuit has been installed properly.

(3) Checking the settings for power ON sequence

Make sure that settings have been entered so that power supplies will be turned ON according

to the procedure outlined in "Power ON Operation".

(4) Checking the GM1 Controller mode selector switch

Set the GM1 Controller to the STOP mode. Setting it in the RUN mode can cause inadvertent

operation.
