5.4.2 Wiring the Discrete-wire Connector

● When performing wiring work, refer to the instruction manual of the crimping tool in order

to prevent faulty wiring.

1.

Bend and break the contact, and set it in the crimping tool.

2.

Insert the wire without removing its insulation until it stops, and lightly grip the crimping tool.

3.

The contact appears as shown below after it is crimped. Confirm the following two points.
1. The wire must be embraced inside the clamped part.
2. The wire must be inserted to the end.

4.

Insert the wire with the contact into the housing.
