Chapter 2. Standard Installation (FTPA Buffers)

Install the remaining studs in the order shown below, but 

do not

 fully tighten the nuts yet.

6.

Center the buffer in the middle of the lap joint flange. Inspect 360° around the flanges to ensure equal spacing, 

by sliding your fingers around the gap between the buffer flange and the nozzle flange.

7.

Then, align the flanges as shown below.

IMPORTANT:

 Make sure the gasket is in the center of the flanges.
