Creating an Untimed Event
An untimed event is an event that does not occur at a particular time of day—for example,
a holiday or anniversary.
1.
Press
Calendar
until you are in
Day
view.
2.
Press
Left
or
Right
to go to the date of the event.
3.
Make sure that no times are highlighted.
4.
Enter a description for the event. A diamond appears next to
the description of an untimed event.
Scheduling a Repeating Event
1.
Create an event, and then select it.
2.
Select
Details
.
3.
Select the
Repeat
pick list, and then select a repeat interval. (If the interval you need
doesn’t appear on the list, select
Other
to define a custom interval.)
4.
For weekly events, select the day(s) the event is repeated; for monthly events, select
Day
or
Date
to indicate the repeating method.
5.
If the event has an ending date, select the
End on
pick list, select
Choose Date
, and
then select the ending date.
6.
Select
OK
.
Tip:
To enter a birthday or anniversary, add the information to the person’s
Contacts
entry and it automatically appears in your
Calendar
.
