Operation

If a power failure occurs during operation, the heat pump restarts automatically when the power is restored.

Display

No buttons can be used if the display is locked.

When the heat pump is turned on, the display indicates the pool temperature or a possible error code.

If the display is not used for 30 seconds, it turns o昀昀 (screen lock).

Putting heat pump into operation

Note!

Pool system CIRCULATION PUMP should always BE STARTED BEFORE THE HEAT PUMP.

Do the following:

1.  Check that the heat pump and pipe connections are installed according to the pipe laying diagram.
2.  Check the installation against the wiring diagram and that grounding is correct.
3.

Check that the heat pump operating switch is turned o昀昀.

4.  Start the pool system circulation pump.
5.  Check that there are no water leaks in the system.
6.  Check that the pump air inlet and outlet are not blocked.
7.  Turn on the operating switch for the heat pump (symbols in display do not light up yet).
8.

Start the heat pump by pressing the “Lock up” button for 3 seconds and then the On/O昀昀 button. (Symbols in display light up.)

9.  Check the heat pump temperature setting / Set the appropriate temperature, see below.
10.

Select mode, see “Mode selection” below. (Full power is the default mode.)

11.  Check that no unusual noises are coming from the heat pump when it is in operation.

Setting the desired water temperature

Setting the water temperature, 18 – 40° can be done regardless of whether the heat pump is operating or not.

Press “Lock up” button for 3 seconds and then press ▲ or ▼ to set the required temperature.

In order to check the settings, press ▲ or ▼. The desired temperature is displayed blinking for a few seconds.

After the required pool temperature is obtained, the heat pump regularly checks the temperature and when it falls below the set
value, heating will start again.

Example:

The set temperature is 26° C. The heat pump then stops at 26.4 ° and restarts at 25.4°.

When the temperature reaches 25 ° the heat pump operates between 20–80% capacity until the temperature reaches 26.4°.

Controlling and adjusting the water 昀氀ow

•

Adjust to the recommended water 昀氀ow through the heat pump by means of valves in the bypass kit (or another pipe laying

pattern).

•  Let the heat pump run for at least for 5 minutes.

•  Check parameters for incoming water temperature and outgoing water temperature.

The di昀昀erence for optimal e昀케ciency should be between 1– 3°C.

Open the bypass valve in order to increase the di昀昀erence or the throttle valve to reduce the di昀昀erence.

Mode selection

Heat pump always starts in the “Full power” mode, indicated by three bars in the symbol for e昀昀ect on the display.

Press the “eco” button to change the operation mode (indicated by two bars).

NOTE!

We recommend the “Full power” operating mode when starting the pool in the spring. The heat pump will then give full

power to quickly heat up the pool. When the pool is heated to the desired temperature, “eco” operation is recommended.

The heat pump then gives a maximum of up to 80% power.
