9. FAQs(Frequently Asked Questions)
Following FAQs include frequently asked questions for MARS installation, configuration,
intiation and operation, please refer to what you need when you might encounter.
9.1 Do I need to debug MARS scripts?

No. MARS is no-scripts test automation tool, no scripts required.
9.2 What’s test scenario in MARS?

MARS test scenario means business process or flow of the system under test (SUT).
User can use the edit tools in MARS to draw the business flow as per business
requirement document and function specifications documents, or designed test
spcifications. A node stands for a screen, and the line between nodes is used to edit
actions between screens.
9.3 When create DB in MARS, there is “SQL Error”, why?

MARS user must have MySQL root previliege to create MARS DB.

If user not authorized, please execute the following SQL under MySQL:
grant all on *.* to root@'%' identified by "root" WITH GRANT OPTION;
9.4 Why not able to create test projects logged in MARS as
administrator?

MARS administrator can manage system roles and members, and assign test project
manager. Only test project manager has test project creation privellige.
9.5 License unmatched message displayed ,even the license file is
copied to MARS Controller.

License file out-dated, or the MAC address of MARS Controller provided was wrong,
please contact MARS team for technical support.
9.6 When s tart MARS Controller, “Access denied” message displays,
how to resolve it?

Please make sure the user has full MARS Controller privellige to start MARS services.
